The Gloria is omitted on ALL SUNDAY LITURGIES.
Immaculate Conception - Sunday, December 7/8
Masses on the Evening of December 7 still utilize the Prayers and Readings of the Sunday of Advent. Attendance at a Mass on the Evening of Sunday, December 7, even though it is the Mass of Sunday, may fulfill the obligation for either Sunday or Immaculate Conception, but cannot fulfill both obligations at the same time. Two obligations requires attendance at two Masses, which may be fulfilled in the following ways:
A Saturday Evening Mass and a Monday Mass
A Saturday Evening Mass and a Sunday Evening Mass
A Sunday Morning/early Afternoon Mass and a Monday Mass
A Sunday Morning/early Afternoon Mass and a Sunday Evening Mass
A Sunday Evening Mass and a Monday Mass
A Sunday Evening Mass and another Sunday Evening Mass
