Discalced Hermits of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Activities

The Discalced Hermits of Our Lady of Mount Carmel are a group of men who seek to live a contemplative, monastic life rooted in the Carmelite tradition. Three years ago they relocated to the Diocese of Pueblo. While their intention is to live as hermits in the tradition of the Carmelite Rule, they do not hold canonical recognition as a religious institute within the Archdiocese of Denver.

It is important to note that the Discalced Hermits of Our Lady of Mount Carmel do not have permission to solicit funds or engage in any form of fundraising within the Archdiocese of Denver. Any appeals for donations — whether in person, online, or through printed materials — are unauthorized and not sanctioned by the Archdiocese.
