The Prophet Elijah House was built to allow retired priests to reside together in fellowship and provide spiritual growth during their later years. The deacon responsible for managing the house sees to the needs of the priests, works with scheduling maintenance contractors and ordering supplies. The deacon also assists the Carmelite nuns who provide a daily meal and housekeeping for the priests.
